Thank You All. I passed along the Congrats Saturday to a somewhat confused Sean during the grandkiddo's birthday party. His birthday is actually This coming Saturday, but school starts the following Monday & they wanted to let him have a little time with his new toys. 1 of which was an X-box 360 & Kinect. Cara was rather pleased she found it at a yard sale for a $100, still in box. Only played twice.

I think I figured out Chantal's gig on Face Book. It is possible to have groups that are the equivalent of unlisted numbers. Hidden groups! You can't find them in the search box, and you only hear of them once you're admitted.

I know this because I have now become a member of "Classy Lassies," a sub sect of another hidden group called "Red Hats, Purple Chaps." RHPC is a group of older women with horses, while CL is members of that group who live in northern Indiana. I've been admitted because one of the CLs wants me to take her horse and she wants me to see his picture. I may just do it, too.

So I left the Step off. Yes, there is/was a Stepson all these years. I'm sure I mentioned it, you've only forgotten. Sean lived with his mother growing up, Pilot got visitation when she wasn't being a bitch.

Remember me freaking how much like AP he looked - ohhhhhh.... 2000'ish or so? How it was "So Wrooooong"! & it was! It was SOOOO Wrong! AP got that picture taken with the damned spikey hair cut & the purple shirt. It was HORRIBLE! Pilot teased me for years about that. Fortunately AP's gotten older & changed, so's the kid that is well old enough to be reproducing now. He has been for a good - almost 20 years now.

*listens close bcs just certain Michelle's starting to laugh now.*

Btw, you have no idea how much I needed that laugh! Mom's pissing me off again & laying on the guilt.

I never know whether to use stepson or just son. I would like to use son, but don't want to offend them...same with the grandkids. Do I say step-grandkids?

Informally leave "step" out. If Julia doesn't like it, she can ^%$# herself.

Oh, yeah, now that you say step kid, I remember him and that he looked like AP. With that goofy haircut they both looked like cupie dolls.

Neither have I & I'm sure you haven't been put through what I have with yours over the years. It was made perfectly clear by "Someone" 30 years ago that I wasn't allowed certain privileges that his father said "Oh like Hell she's got them! Kat's my gf/fiancee/wife. (depending on the time)" Always kind of made me feel stuck in the middle & not sure how to proceed. Which I will admit has affected the relationship. At one time she was only too willing to make stuff up, twist things around, or blow other occurrences out of proportion to try and take Pilot's visitation away. But when the first grandkid came along I decided the hell with it, she can try to squawk if she likes, but then - what about her current husband? He's granddad Steve. I thought it was past time to demand equal billing.
