Default Peter on episode of The Outer Limits

I just happened to be channel surfing and saw an episode of Outer Limits on Showcase starring Peter Wingfield. The episode is from 2000. and is called *The Beholder*. I often watch this show as there are some interesting episodes from time to time. it was also made in Vancouver as so many of these series are and more often than not, I see those same actors who appeared on Highlander! I didn't know that Peter did an episode.

I didn't actually watch it Cool. I just saw Peter in a scene. I was busy at the time and didn't have time to watch. I suppose I should have just hit the record button and PVR'd it for later but I never thought to. There were 3 opportunities to see it today too, 2 earlier in the day but it was the last one when I found it.

I taped it and watched it yesterday too. His role was small, but he did a fine job. It wasn't a tough role.

On the other hand, I've been watching Stargate SG1 and I watched the first episode PW is in that the other day. I also watched it with the commentary by Peter Deluise who is a producer and also directed that episode. He was glowing in his admiration of Peter Wingfield - said he was terrific to work with and a fabulous actor. He nailed his performance and wasn't afraid to give it his all, not intimidated by the fact he was only a guest star. He also mentioned his role as Methos in Highlander.

DeLuis was in one of the very early HL eps; you know the one in which Richie thinks he has found his father? DeLuis played the "muscle" that Duncan got to beat up. Was he a director for HL, too?

Peter DeLuise was the actor in "Family Tree", yes, Coolwater. He never directed or produced any Highlander shows though.

I had to look at several websites that claimed to have his film stats, until I found this one, none of them even mentioned Highlander or a third of his credits.

I know and that's weird, since his name is in the opening credits for the episode.

There was a Sanctuary marathon of the first season on SyFy so I watch just about all of them up to the beginning of season 2. But after finding out that Peter or Jim may not be back...my interest waned. Peter's performance was outstanding and their loss for not writing the story line keeping him.
